A Look back

I recently took a trip to a small airstrip not too far away from the city to go skydiving and scratch an itch for adventure that I haven’t been able to reach as of late.

The last time I was able to explore and test my wits was back this last June when I had an opportunity to go to Colorado and explore the beauties of the natural landscape. My trip began in Denver and spread all over the centennial state. I hiked, swam, biked, fished, and climbed over and through every mountian range, forrest foothill, and open pasture that I could find, each day uncovering inspiration in the colors of life all around me.

For this trip, I elected to limit myself to just a few rolls of film so that my eyes could take in the views without having to look at a screen all the time. After the trip, I sat on the rolls and waited to develop them so that I might re-experience the odyssey all over again and I was certainly not disappointed.

Now that I have conquered the skies by falling from an airplane, it seemed fitting to revisit the last time I was 13,000 feet in the air atop the Rocky Mountains.

I hope these pictures take you vicariously on this journey- my time in Colorado was very impactful and I eagerly anticipate my return.
